Rotherham United boss Matt Taylor spoke ahead of the epic trip to South Wales to face Swansea City
After an impressive win over Play-off chasing Sunderland in midweek there was plenty on the agenda ahead of the televised trip to the Swansea.com Stadium.
On a clinical edge in the Sunderland victory… “Watching it back in a different environment with less atmosphere and heat than in the game the following day, I was so pleased with some of our attacking play. I know we were resilient at the end when we had to be but it’s the best that we’ve looked in an attacking sense for a long time. “We were a lot cleaner and there was a lot more space on that football pitch with two teams who wanted to go at it and threaten the opposition goal. “We were pleased with both goals. They were both moments of quality and ones that we want to keep executing in the future. “There were a lot of pleasing aspects but the three points was the important thing.
On expectations ahead of Swans test… “We’re always looking to try and win the game. They’re mid-table and they’ll have aspirations to push up the table. With the playing squad and the personnel they’ve got, they should be looking to be in and around that area. We know how difficult it will be, certainly on their home patch at their stadium which really suits the way they play. We have to find a way of putting them under pressure with or without the ball, and that will be a process that we’ll go through over the weekend.
