A 32-year-old man has been charged following a serious assault, which took place in the Parkgate area of Rotherham last month.
On 27 June at around 9.30pm a traffic officer discovered a woman with serious injuries to her arm on the junction of Lloyd Street and Broad Street.
It is reported that the woman sustained the injuries following an assault at a property on Lloyd Street. Officers attended the property and another woman was found with minor injuries. Both the women were taken to hospital by officers. They have since been discharged.
Tuy Van Tran, of no fixed abode, has been charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault and will appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court today (12 July).
