Appeal for information following burglary in Rotherham

Police in Rotherham are appealing for information following a burglary in the Dalton area.

It is reported that at around midnight on Friday 11 June, the occupants of an address in Foljambe Drive were awoken by six men who had forced entry into the property. The men, armed with shotguns, threatened the victims and demanded they hand over valuables.

Officers are now asking for anyone with information to come forward. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a white Nissan Juke or a dark blue Ford in the area at the time.

Were you in the area at the time? Did you see or hear anything suspicious? Do you think you may have dashcam or CCTV footage?

If you can help, please call 101 quoting incident number 2 of 11 June. Alternatively, you can stay completely anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers via their website Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling their UK Contact Centre on 0800 555 111
