I launched Friendship Lunches in South Yorks 7 years ago - wonderful events which aim to combat/reduce loneliness and social isolation - all 'dementia friendly'
The Friendship Lunches are held at the Toby Carvery Rotherham, Storyteller Parkgate and Ring o Bells in Kimberworth. The events incl a delicious 2 course lunch & live entertainment. The awesome Oliver Harris is the resident performer at the Toby and Storyteller. As the events are 'dementia friendly' they are ideal for those who live with this awful disease, and other health conditions, offering invaluable respite for many families/carers.
