Ray Matthew's 80-80-80 Challenge
Rotherham running man and legend Ray Matthews is encouraging schoolchildren to take on a new challenge to celebrate his 80th birthday in June after running 75 marathons for his 75th birthday just 5 years ago.
Ray Matthews wants 80 schools to run 80 miles and each raise at least £80 for Age UK Rotherham - 25 schools have already signed up for the challenge with people from across the world taking part, including in Cambodia, France and Italy.

Our head of news Joshua Smith chats to Dawn Anderson
Brinsworth-born Jordan Buxton-Anderson, 24, has been in hospital since January 11 after a spinal abscess ruptured in his back and left him paralysed from the waist down.
We’ve spoken to his mum, Dawn, who is fundraising to help buy the wheelchair Jordan so desperately needs.

Nationwide bank in Rotherham supports The Hygiene Bank
Nicola Tilson from the Nationwide bank in the centre of Rotherham spoke to Stewart from breakfast to tell us why they have become a 'Drop Off Point' for the national charity The Hygiene Bank, they collect new, unused, in-date personal care and household cleaning essentials - including deodorant, shower gel, shampoo, make-up, nappies, toilet roll, laundry detergent and surface cleaner, then distribute them out to people and families who can't afford to buy them.
